BIOGRAPHY

DROWNING IN PHEMALDEHYDE was originally formed in late “07” by Vocalist - “Mark”, After years of playing guitar/drumming/and doing vox he envisioned a band that would be as extreme as his inspirations “old school" Devourment, Abominable Putridity and Cephalotripsy”. Mark met first guitarsit “Josh”- Guitars by a chance meeting on myspace and decide to collaborate to create a strait up guttural slamming machine with all members being from other bands they decide to dedicate themselves to perfecting “Drowning In Phemaldehyde”. Together they began practice and in early "08" record the first 3 song demo "self titled" DIP began shopping for label support and finds a home at Dans Crypt Records. In May of "08" lineup changes are made due to busy life schedules. Guitarist "Sebastien" of Darkall Slaves & Amputated Repugnance fame takes creative control of the guitar position and begins writing for the upcoming full length cd entitled "Blistering Corpse Abortion" out Soon on Dans Crypt Records!
